Open every day during the Festival opening hours.
A unique opportunity to get closer to the magical world of Pedro Almodóvar’s films. This exhibition presents original props – clothes, objects, sets – on loan from EL DESEO, the prestigious production studio founded by the director himself in 1986.
These elements have been used in some of the most emblematic films of the filmmaker from Calzado, such as:
- The law of desire (1987)
- Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown (1988)
- The Skin I Live In (2011)
- The Passing Lovers (2013)
- The Skin I Live In (2013)
- Pain and Glory (2019)
EL DESEO not only produces Almodóvar’s films, but also takes meticulous care over every technical, artistic and emotional detail. To donate these original objects for an exhibition in Calzada de Calatrava is a gesture of recognition towards his hometown and a tribute to the figure of the filmmaker.
This exhibition is an immersive experience that allows visitors to touch, see and feel Almodóvar’s visual universe from the source: the props, the soul of the set.
