"the breeders" is a social drama, a road movie on foot. It narrates the journey in search of help undertaken by juana and carmela, two pregnant women, from a peripheral neighborhood where they live to hospitals in two cities on the border between argentina and brazil. In this journey they will find the lack of solidarity and the absence and abandonment of the state, a situation that leads them to discover themselves and create a strong friendship.
