Hernán Valdés Parra

Director of the Calzada de Calatrava Film Festival, where he coordinates the programme and organisation. Under his leadership, the festival is now in its thirteenth year and has established itself as one of the key events in the national short film scene.

Alejandra Salinas

Ana Barberán

Screenwriter, director and producer, trained in screenwriting and directing at the Pixelian Film School in Pamplona. She began her career as an art director on various short films and has written and produced works such as ‘Amándala’ (2024) and ‘El Cor’ (2025), which have won festival awards.

Andrés del Bosque
Actor, director and clown teacher

PhD in Performing Arts, actor, director and clown teacher, as well as one of the first clowns to hold a doctorate. He combines performing with research and teaching, and is the author of *El payaso en la academia*. His work spans theatre, circus and commedia dell’arte.

Luis Galán
Filmmaker, Spain’s most award-winning

Regarded as Spain’s most award-winning filmmaker, he has won over 300 awards in 30 countries. His social documentaries have broken audience records, and he has produced content for companies such as Google and Sony Music. He is a recipient of the National Award and the Honorary Award at our festival.

Mar Olmedilla
Journalist and documentary filmmaker

Journalist and documentary filmmaker, with a degree in Information Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid. She has worked in the press, radio and television for decades, and has directed works such as ‘El amor amargo de Chavela’ and ‘Gloria Fuertes: Poeta de guardia’.

Nani Matos
Actor, director and screenwriter

Actor, director and screenwriter. He has written and directed the short films ‘Dies dei’, ‘Flores para Amalia’, ‘Lurna’ and ‘Antes de que se poña o sol’, the latter having won over 45 awards and been selected for 120 festivals, including the Málaga Film Festival.

Vicente Rodado
Actor, theatre director and teacher

Actor, theatre director and lecturer, with a PhD in Communication from Carlos III University in Madrid and a degree in Dramatic Art from RESAD. For more than two decades, he was a lecturer in Acting at the Higher School of Dramatic Art in Murcia, and won the Best Supporting Actor Award at the 9th Calzada Festival.
