Workshop: an introduction to cinematography, screenwriting and acting
Aimed at the students of I.E.S. Eduardo Valencia in Years 3 and 4 of ESO (secondary education) and Years 1 and 2 of Bachillerato (upper secondary). Free enrolment. From 16 September to 11 October 2026. 14 hours in total.
Taught by Wilfredy Rodríguez (audiovisual creator) and Rafael Abenza (actor), this practical workshop includes the guidance needed for the shooting, editing and post-production of the recorded material.
Framed within programme 003 for the development of general-interest activities considered to be of social interest (0.7% State 2025), this workshop gives the young participants the knowledge and skills needed to work in audiovisual production with DSLR cameras; they will discover what these cameras can do for video recording and will receive the training required to produce high-quality audiovisual work.
They will also learn the rules of script construction and the vocal, body and acting techniques focused on building the narrative structure of a film.
